Wellness practices and complementary therapies in MS
About the resource
Certain therapies and practices might help people with MS manage their symptoms, feel more in control of their MS or make them feel better overall, reducing stress and helping with relaxation. Whilst some practices may provide relief for some MS symptoms, others may be ineffective or even harmful.
It’s vital that people with MS are equipped with the best scientific information to help support their decision-making. This booklet explores:
- Wellness practices for people with MS
- Therapies that may have some benefit for people with MS
- Therapies that should be avoided by people with MS due to concerns about safety or potential harm
Download the accompanying Complementary therapies checklist, a practical checklist to help people with MS weigh their options regarding the use of complementary therapies.
