Telling other young people about MS: I want to be understood, not pitied.
Language
Description
MS can give rise to false myths and prejudices, as it is difficult to understand and not always visible. But behind MS there is much more. These infographics demonstrate some of the prejudices associated with MS, and the ways to overcome them.
This video addresses the difference between just sympathising with a young person with MS, and showing compassion and understanding.
This is the first clip of Associazione Italiana Sclerosi Multipla’s Instagram series dedicated to informing young people about MS. This series was driven by the idea: “I am a teenager: What I’d like you to know about my MS”
