About the resource

These guidelines are designed for any MS organisation looking for support when deciding how to acknowledge financial contributions from pharmaceutical companies. It is a tool to use when considering how to best provide information in an independent and transparent manner, whilst acknowledging financial support. They apply to a wide range of contexts, including information resources, website content, videos or events.

The guidelines are structured around a traffic light system, made up of the ideal situation to aim for (green), the acceptable situation (amber), and the situation to avoid (red). This format aims to take account of the flexibility that MS organisations sometimes need when negotiating with pharmaceutical funders.
