The Brazilian Multiple Sclerosis Association (ABEM) rounded off 2017 in style by inviting a well-known Brazilian forró band to perform at its end-of-year party. The event, held annually, gave people living with MS, their friends, families and caregivers the chance to enjoy music and dancing from the RASTAPÉ group, as well as a special lunch.
Magali Torrado, a representative of ABEM, said, “Events like this are very important in order to create unity and strengthen the partnership between ABEM and all of our supporters. “Moments like these will stay in the memory of everyone involved with the event.”
