Students and staff from "Universidade Futura do Pintor" renovated the facilities as part of a partnership between the two organisations

A successful partnership between the Brazilian Multiple Sclerosis Association (ABEM) and a São Paulo art University has enabled the society to redecorate its facilities, improving the experience of visiting people affected by MS.
As part of a social project at the Universidade Futura do Pintor (the “Future Painter” University), 45 of its students, educators, and members of the University board visited ABEM’s facilities to renovate a variety of external spaces and the “Centre of Coexistence” building. The University, which aims to equip those aspiring towards a career in painting, provided all paints and materials for the project.
The project was mutually beneficial for ABEM and the students; whilst the renovation created a more pleasant, welcoming environment for all those who the society supports to enjoy, the practical experience of external painting will contribute towards the students’ course marks.
