Canadian MS Society meets 75 MPs in 2 days
MS Society of Canada working hard to educate decision makers on MS
Last updated: 28th September 2016
As part of their ongoing work to End MS, advocates from MS Canada have been meeting politicians to make sure they are well informed about how MS affects families, jobs and lives.
Constituents contacted their representatives to tell them about the opportunity. This meant that in two days the advocates met over 75 members of parliament. This culminated in a meeting with Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Thanks to this work the Canadian government is now better informed about how they can make important decisions about policies that can affect the future for people living with MS.
