MS on Russian TV

In times of crisis governments often resort to cutting social budgets and unprotected communities such as people with multiple sclerosis suffer first. This means that we have to speak even louder to keep MS at the top of people’s agendas. With this in mind, Russian MS Society President Dr Yan Vlasov was recently a guest on a talk-show on the Russian TV channel ‘RBK+’. http://ms2002.ru/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4929&Itemid=1

The studio guests swiftly underlined the importance of personalised therapy. While discussing new facilities to better diagnose MS, Dr. Vlasov emphasized the physician’s role in MS management and the need to provide even more Russian people with MS with a therapy or treatment.

Dr. Vlasov proposed helping pharmaceutical companies develop and produce more accessible drugs, which requires combined efforts of governments and businesses. Everybody in the studio agreed that getting people informed increases life expectancy for people with MS.
