MS in a minute: Lesions
Language
Description
In the MS in a minute videos, you will be briefly introduced to an MS related concept and given an overview of the topic.
In MS, the term lesion refers to an area of damage or scarring in the central nervous system. Lesions are caused by inflammation that results from the immune system attacking the myelin sheath around nerves and these are often visible on MRIs as circular spots.
