Invisible Symptoms
About the resource
Multiple Sclerosis has numerous symptoms which are not recognisable at first glance, however these symptoms may have strong repercussions for those who experience them. Describing these symptoms and their impact on daily life can be a difficult task in both private and professional context as MS is experienced differently from person to person, however many will recognise the description of an individual symptom reported by another person with MS.
The Swiss MS Registry has shown descriptions of symptoms commonly experienced by people with MS. The most noticeable being, fatigue, pain and cognitive limitations. Not all symptoms can be treated with drugs, but there are techniques and strategies that can be used in everyday life.
In this booklet, you will learn about these invisible symptoms and possible ways to manage them.
