For people with MS symptoms such as fatigue and balance, may get in the way of maintaining good posture. For some people, improving posture helps control muscle spasms and stiffness. Good posture can also help you to avoid aches, pains, and pressure sores.

This factsheet, about posture, has information and tips for those who assist or support someone with MS. It is designed to help those who are generally quite mobile, but may at times want assistance. It’s important that carers give the right amount of assistance at the right time.
