World MS Day countdown starts
The countdown to World MS Day has started with the launch of
a new web page
and a short video looking back on previous campaigns.
World MS Day is the MS movement's
annual campaign to raise awareness of the condition, and to support and
connect the 2.3 million people living with it worldwide. The
2014 campaign is being led by MSIF’s Sophie Paterson and a working
group from MS societies across the world - from India to Ireland.
The theme is access – not just physical access, but also access to
drugs, information and treatment, and the same social and economic
opportunities as everyone else. We’re asking people to think about barriers to access in
their life and to make a wish for something that would help overcome
those barriers. As a way of focusing on the many issues around access
we’ll be using the tagline ‘One day’.
